Christopher C. Finlay

Mr. Finlay is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Middleburg, a leading investment firm maximizing value through a fully integrated approach to the acquisition, development, construction and operations of high-quality attainable housing. In this role, Mr. Finlay takes primary responsible for the strategic vision and direction of the firm, the foundation of the corporate culture, and the full oversight and management of the Middleburg affiliated companies. Mr. Finlay’s success in this capacity includes the acquisition and development over 22,000 apartment homes and over $3 billion in transactions.

He is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Shelters to Shutters, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness and poverty. Mr. Finlay also serves on the Board of Trustees for Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC and on the Board of Directors of the National Sporting Library and Museum in Middleburg, Virginia.

Mr. Finlay is active with industry organizations and is on the Board of Directors for the National Multifamily Housing Council.

Mr. Finlay served seven years in the United States Marine Corps and graduated with Honors from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
