Mr. Leader joined Middleburg as Controller in September of 2019. In this position he oversees all day to day accounting functions of Middleburg Development and Middleburg Construction, and the respective development and construction projects.
Prior to joining Middleburg in 2019, Mr. Leader was Assistant Controller for almost 6 years with Hoffman & Associates (formerly PN Hoffman), a DC based real estate firm focused on residential and mixed use projects. While at Hoffman & Associates, Mr. Leader oversaw the development accounting for multiple entities at The Wharf, a $2 billion mixed use project on the Washington Channel in SW Washington DC. Prior to joining Hoffman & Associates, Mr. Leader was Controller at Perseus Realty a small DC real estate firm where he oversaw all accounting functions for the company and its subsidiaries.
Mr. Leader received his Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Lycoming College.
