A Culture of Community Service

Middleburg Communities is committed to caring for our broader communities and neighborhoods. At the ground level, residents and staff participate in local service projects together each quarter. This is not only an important and tangible reflection of our corporate values it is an essential aspect of Middleburg culture. Residents choose our communities based primarily on quality, affordability and location, yet it’s our positive and proactive, people-focused culture that shapes a signature resident experience.

These neighbor partnerships and service projects yield cleaner common spaces, brighter parks, and richer relationships. We are not only meeting housing needs; we are weaving neighborhood fabrics that reflect our residents and our sincere concern for the communities we live and work in.

In 2016, we were humbled to be recognized by Multifamily Executive as the Grand Prize winner of its Community Service award. It is our signature participatory attitude toward community service that sets us apart. Not only do we encourage our residents to participate in events with us, we also grant all full-time employees a week of paid time off to use explicitly for volunteering with the organization of their choice.
