As Director of Design, Mr. Brown coordinates the overall design strategy and process for new multifamily properties. In addition to collaborating directly with our design partners, this role involves tailoring the design of projects to be specific to each market and each specific project site while maintaining aesthetic cohesion across the Middleburg portfolio.
Prior to joining Middleburg, Mr. Brown was a Multifamily Leader at Gensler, the world’s largest architecture firm, as well as Bozzuto Management Company as an Advisory Services Manager. In both roles, he worked with developers of new multifamily properties to ensure that each project was best positioned to succeed in their markets through a combination of market research, design thinking, and operational efficiency.
Mr. Brown graduated from Georgetown University with a Master’s Degree in Real Estate, and earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech.
