Announcing Robert Grealy as New Partner and President of Property Management
FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA (March 21, 2016) – Middleburg Real Estate Partners is pleased to welcome Robert Grealy as a Partner in the firm and President of affiliated property management company, Middleburg Management. In this role, Mr. Grealy will oversee all aspects of the property operations, client relations, third-party business development, and assisting the Middleburg investment and development platforms in expanding throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern regions.

Mr. Grealy brings nearly 30 years of multifamily experience to Middleburg including 20 years in senior leadership roles. Mr. Grealy served as Vice President of Property Management at Equity Residential for 16 years. During his time with Equity Residential, he was responsible for operations in New England and the Southeast. For the most recent 10 years, he managed the $4 billion Washington, D.C. area portfolio, compromising over 18,000 units and 56 luxury apartment communities.
Prior to his tenure with Equity Residential, Mr. Grealy was Managing Director of Oakwood Asia Pacific, where he developed and implemented Oakwood Worldwide’s international expansion strategy. Mr. Grealy opened its regional headquarters in Singapore and managed operations in China, Thailand, Burma, and the Philippines.
He has served on the Board of Directors for many apartment associations including the Washington, D.C. Apartment Owners and Builders Association (AOBA) and as the Advisory Board Chairman of Virginia Tech’s Residential Property Management program.
Mr. Grealy is an alumnus of the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelors of Arts in Economics.
